Modern Expression Series

I created this "Modern Expressions" series to explore a more impressionist approach to portraiture, moving away from the strict realism of my other work. Using charcoal and pastel, I focus on capturing the essence of my subjects through more gestural mark-making and looser compositions.

These portraits represent my experimentation with how far I can push traditional materials while still conveying recognizable human features and expressions. Each piece serves as a personal study in balancing technical skill with artistic interpretation.
